About
I am a private practice general psychiatrist based in Philadelphia. I attended Amherst College, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in music, and completed medical training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. I later finished psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving advanced training in the medical treatment of mental health disorders as well as training in several different methods of talk therapy such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy. I completed further study of psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. I am deeply interested in alternative forms of healing such as spirituality, music, meditation, and nutrition.
I am very flexible in my approach and try to tailor treatment to meet each individual's history and needs - whether that is through medications, therapy, or both. Ultimately, I want to help people understand themselves better and feel more fulfilled.
